At Norman Brothers we are proud to be a part of the wonderful community of South Florida, and particularly of South Miami Dade County. The owner/managers of our company includes three generations, and all of us were born and raised here. It has always been important to give back to our community. We focus on local schools and youth oriented charities, along with a few other organizations supporting causes close to our hearts. Our family has been touched by autism, breast cancer and heart disease in particular.
Each year in November, we host our Annual Wine Tasting & Open House. This is a Friday evening of good food, good music and great wine. All proceeds from the event are donated to charity. For the past several years, UM-NSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities has been the recipient of event proceeds. CARD is an organization which provides resources, training, family support and education to individuals and families dealing with autism and related disabilities. In previous years, funds from the Wine Tasting benefited The American Cancer Society, The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Charlee Program and Operation Smile. We are proud to say that over the years we’ve raised over $100,000 for these charities.
